West Michigan Aviation Academy

Bold, flight-related graphics and run-way style directional signage set the scene for the West Michigan Aviation Academy, one of the nation’s only aviation focused charter high schools. With the school offering “a new, challenging, rewarding way to learn,” it was critical that the interior reflect and reinforce a fresh, exciting, aviation focus. While supporting the innovative education environment, the renovation had to be cost effective and flexible, easily adapting to a multifaceted curriculum delivery method still being developed. The interior also had to resonate with students who are “shopping” for a high school.
