AIA Grand Valley will hold a vote on the proposed bylaws revisions during the first 5 to 15 minutes of the lunch and learn on Friday, March 23.
After the bylaws vote, from approximately 11:40 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Ben Hammond from Hilger Hammond, PC, and Mike Cosgrove from PCIA will present "Top Ten Contract Clauses - Deal Breakers and Deal Makers." Participants will review the most important contract clauses in an interactive format and discuss how working in each could make the contract a deal maker or deal breaker. From 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., there will be a 30 minute presentation on valuing a firm by Brian DeMaag.
Two learning units will be available to attendees.
Lunch will be provided for all who pre-register and attend the bylaws vote and/or lunch and learn. The lunch and learn is free to all current AIAGV members and students. Non-AIAGV members must pay $15.
